I was encouraged to delve into this genre by a friend who remarked, "Honey, you could write erotica better than Jackie Susann—one-handed!" That was nearly a decade ago when I began crafting a fictional tale that draws very loosely from the infamous "Torso" killer in Cleveland during the 1930s. This ongoing project features an openly gay police chief, all gay victims, and a suspiciously gay killer, blending elements of murder mystery with eroticism.
