In areas where Lunar Lake may not excel, such as multi-threading, the Core Ultra 9 288V demonstrates energy efficiency comparable to Apple's M3 at 20W. Its package power consumption is also 40% lower than that of Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite. However, at increased power levels, its multi-core performance lags behind its two more powerful counterparts, the Ultra 7 165H and the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. We will need to wait for the performance of Arrow Lake processors to be revealed.
In terms of integrated graphics capability, Intel has tested 45 games, finding that 23 of them could not run on Snapdragon X Elite laptops. Compared to the previously "strongest" mobile processor, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, the Core Ultra 9 288V achieves 16% better overall gaming performance.
