# Embracing My Mission to Combat Stress and Anxiety
Written on
Chapter 1: Introduction to My Mission
I am dedicated to aiding individuals in managing their stress and anxiety by utilizing yoga, breathwork, and intentional thinking.
Life should be about thriving rather than merely existing. We ought to embrace each day with love, gratitude, and hope for what lies ahead, rather than just going through the motions. Achieving this can be as straightforward as practicing focused breathing, engaging in movement, and employing our thoughts wisely. The best solutions often are simple; sometimes, we just need guidance to recognize them. That's my aim—to assist others in this journey.
To effectively support others, I first need to address my own stress and anxiety. Although the exact form this assistance will take is still unclear, I trust that the pieces will eventually align, and when they do, I will share this revelation widely. This seems like an excellent starting point.
This passage reflects my experiences in "Breathing is Bad For You (If You're Doing it Wrong)," inspired by an eye-opening physiotherapy session where I learned about my ineffective breathing patterns. Years of anxiety had led to tension in my body, and now it's time to untangle it. Leaving the treatment room, I felt a mix of sympathy for my anxious self and excitement for my current determination to help both myself and others. While the full picture remains elusive, I've begun to outline my vision.
Though I joined Medium prior to that transformative appointment, my writing has significantly evolved in recent months. Some of my pieces are autobiographical, while others aim to provide examples that may assist readers.
If you're not yet following my publication, Peace, Love & Crappiness, please consider doing so. Here, you'll find stories that resonate with the idea that happy endings often arise from struggles. This is a space for narratives that recognize challenges, demonstrating that it is indeed possible to overcome them and achieve personal victories. Without darkness, we cannot appreciate the light.
New writers are always welcome to join our community!
I aspire to share as much wisdom as my words can convey, hoping to assist anyone who may need it.
Regarding my mission: I aim to help others manage stress and anxiety through yoga, breathwork, and conscious thinking. This journey is ongoing, and that's perfectly fine. The moment I stop seeking improvement is the moment I cease to truly live. There will always be something to strive for.
Yoga is gradually re-entering my life. After completing my yoga teacher training, I hit a standstill due to fear. Now, it feels counterproductive since teaching yoga aligns perfectly with my mission. I'm slowly re-establishing my personal practice, and soon I will be ready to guide others.
The pieces of my journey are beginning to come together. Some fragments remain elusive, perhaps tucked away under a rug or beneath my dog's paw, but I know they are present. Soon, the puzzle will be complete.
