Engaging Narratives: A Curated Journey Through ILLUMINATION
Written on
Chapter 1: Nostalgic Journeys
Dear fellow readers and friends of Medium, I have put together a collection of 152 curated lists, offering new readers a variety of topics to explore. Our team has been quite busy, adding numerous new writers and publishing hundreds of drafts across our platforms. Nevertheless, I make it a point to highlight some of the hidden gems within our archives. Our dedicated editor, Aiden, has been doing a remarkable job, featuring 172 stories so far! With over a million stories at our disposal, we continue to unearth fascinating narratives for you. So, relax and enjoy with your favorite sugar-free beverage. 😎
Additionally, I have begun to introduce boosted stories to help them gain visibility, as these often struggle to reach readers. Each month, I plan to include older stories in upcoming collections. The effort put forth by our editors, nominators, and writers in crafting these tales is immense—they truly are labors of love. While I don't personally have boosted stories, I enjoy reading and promoting them.
In the past few days, we've welcomed over 500 new writers, whom I've also introduced in previous collections. It's vital to support these new voices as they build their confidence and grow within our vibrant, diverse community.
In recent days, I was unable to write, but I did pen a piece yesterday about a groundbreaking study from Japan. This research offers hope to those affected by chronic diseases, as advancements in gene therapy are being made.
Chapter 2: Recent Insights
Here are some recent works that might interest health and science enthusiasts:
- A Public Health Wake-Up Call: Addressing Vaping and E-Cigarette Issues
- The Sugar Myth: Debunking Common Misconceptions
- The Rising Threat: Understanding H5N1 Bird Flu Risks
- The Quiet Quitting Phenomenon: Analyzing Employee Disengagement
I also appreciated Dr. Mehmet Yildiz's latest editorial piece on community building within this expanding platform. If you’re interested in being interviewed by him, feel free to leave a comment on this article.
Among my favorites from his account was "Tiny Steps, Big Results: The Power of Micro Habits for Enhanced Health and Happiness." For older individuals, his lighthearted yet insightful piece, "Why a 75-Year-Old Farmer's Balls Shrunk, But His Penis Stayed the Same," also makes for an entertaining read.
I enjoyed his compassionate open letter to Amazon, addressing global concerns.
Chapter 3: New Horizons
My new publication, Health and Science, is rapidly gaining traction, matching the growth of its predecessor, ILLUMINATION 🌞. I recently wrote my first newsletter, which garnered thousands of views in May 2024. If you're curious, I can share my dashboard with you. 😎
I have begun curating health and science articles from the ILLUMINATION archives, and I hope you discover valuable insights in these pieces. Some have been published prior to my joining Medium, and revisiting them has been a delightful experience.

A Satirical Note on Scammers:
I will keep the satirical pieces regarding digital scammers on hold until Medium takes action to protect our readers. We are all weary of the stress caused by these individuals.
Invitation for Self-Curation:
To draw more readers to our platform, our chief editor has shared a bulletin highlighting his favorite stories. It would be encouraging for all writers to create similar collections and submit them to our publications.
I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I do. Thank you for your continued support and engagement with our community!
