Transform Your Relationship with Alcohol: Programs and Resources

Written on

Understanding Your Drinking Patterns

Have you ever searched for ways to quit drinking while still holding a drink? You might have attempted to limit your alcohol intake but found yourself eagerly awaiting the next weekend or social event just to indulge. Or perhaps you're simply feeling unsatisfied with how alcohol affects your life and are struggling to stop.

If any of this resonates with you, you're not alone. I once found myself in a similar situation; I recognized the need to take control of my drinking but felt that traditional support groups like AA weren't the right fit. I didn't see myself as an alcoholic—I was managing my job, family, and responsibilities. However, I was also feeling unfulfilled, bloated, and generally annoyed with life.

Through self-discovery, I learned what strategies worked for me, actively engaging with support groups, podcasts, and literature about quitting drinking. Below, I’ve compiled a list of programs, podcasts, and courses that may help you evaluate your relationship with alcohol and lead a more fulfilling life.
