This unique capability allows quantum computers to execute specific calculations at speeds unattainable by classical systems.

By "functional," I refer to a prototype capable of being programmed and executing early forms of software. The timeline for achieving a fully operational quantum computer is uncertain. Presently, these systems are in nascent stages, facing numerous technical hurdles before they can be broadly applied. While researchers are making strides, the advent of fully functional quantum computers might still be decades away, according to some experts. Others speculate it could take even longer.
